- Position: Travel Cardiac Catheterization RN (Cath Lab RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Location: Boston, MA 02114
- Start Date: September 6, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,870 - $3,020
- Hours per Week: 40
- Shift Duration: 10-hour days
- Schedule Options: 3 x 12-hour shifts or 4 x 10-hour shifts
- Call Expectations: Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call may be required during the contract
- Setting: High-volume cardiac catheterization lab with advanced procedural capability
Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience required
- 2+ years of ICU nursing experience preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred, but not required
- Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in a fast-paced procedural environment
- Ability to support patient-centered care and collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary care team
- Ability to work scheduled day shifts with occasional call coverage as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure safe, coordinated patient care
- Support continuity of care throughout pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and recovery phases
- Promote a patient- and family-focused care experience in all interactions
- Monitor patients closely during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Maintain accuracy in documentation and follow established clinical workflows
- Respond effectively to changing patient needs in a high-acuity procedural setting
- Participate in call coverage when assigned during the travel contract period
