• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 - $2,480
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: Required to Med Surg and ER as needed
• Orientation: 12 hours
• Openings: 2

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Active Kansas RN license or compact RN license at time of submission
• Current BLS, FHM, and NRP certifications required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Prior experience floating to Med Surg or ER is helpful
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• References required with submission

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality Labor & Delivery nursing care in a rural hospital setting
• Monitor patients, perform assessments, and respond to changing clinical needs
• Assist with admissions, transfers, IV therapy, vital signs, and patient support
• Support Med Surg and ER patients when floating, including low-acuity care and routine clinical tasks
• Work closely with the charge nurse and care team to maintain safe, efficient shift operations
• Provide dependable support during higher-acuity situations as a collaborative healthcare team member
• Follow facility policies, scheduling expectations, and time-off submission requirements
