- Position: Travel Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing
- Location: Cincinnati, OH 45211
- Start Date: 08/24/2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Monday-Friday, 4 x 10-hour day shifts
- Shift Length: 10 hours
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,750 - $2,890
- On-Call Requirement: 1-2 days per week and 1-2 weekends per month, based on departmental needs
- Work Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab / Hybrid procedural environment
Job Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of assignment or compact license eligibility
- Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience in Cath Lab, telemetry, critical care, ER, or OR
- BLS certification required
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire; preferred at hire
- Ability to respond to STEMI call backs within 30 minutes
- Dysrhythmia exam required
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Ability to perform in high-acuity, fast-paced clinical situations
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care
- Administer medications safely and in accordance with nursing standards and hospital protocols
- Support cardiac catheterization and peripheral procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases
- Function independently as scrub nurse and circulator as needed
- Assist with hemodynamic monitoring, conscious sedation, and procedural support
- Respond quickly and confidently to urgent and emergency cases, including STEMI activations
- Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care
- Support patient education, family communication, and safe transitions of care
- Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and evidence-based nursing practice
- Maintain professionalism, adaptability, and calm under pressure in a busy cardiac care setting
