• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Schedule Notes: Float required within scope of practice; no block schedule requests

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Recent Epic experience within the past year required
• Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric nursing, or geriatric psychiatry strongly preferred
• BLS certification required
• CPI Blue Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute required
• Must hold an accredited nursing degree from ACEN or CCNE
• Ability to draw blood and manage IVs
• Comfortable floating within scope of practice, including to med/surg units as helping hands
• Must be available for interview

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to older adult psychiatric patients
• Monitor and support patients with dementia, depression, suicidal ideation, and other mental health needs
• Perform routine nursing assessments, document care accurately in Epic, and maintain patient safety
• Administer medications and support individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the care team
• Manage blood draws, IV care, and other clinical support tasks as needed
• Respond appropriately to behavioral health concerns using de-escalation techniques and safety protocols
• Float within scope of practice when assigned
• Work closely with techs and other team members to maintain a calm, therapeutic environment
