- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 3 x 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,040 - $2,150
- Charting: Cerner preferred
- Float: May float to Pediatrics and Nursery as needed
Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 2 years of NICU experience required; 3 years preferred
- Previous travel nurse experience required
- Current BLS, NRP, and STABLE certification
- Experience with Cerner preferred
- Ability to thrive in a high-acuity neonatal care setting
- RTO must be submitted with application
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to neonates in a busy Level III NICU
- Monitor and support infants with complex respiratory, developmental, and medical needs
- Assist with high-risk deliveries and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff on specialized interventions
- Manage IVs, central lines, feeding support, phototherapy, thermoregulation, and ventilator-related care
- Support family education and promote developmental and breastfeeding care
- Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner and work closely with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
