Experienced OR Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Pasadena, Texas, just southeast of Houston. Join a fast-paced Operating Room team supporting a wide range of surgical cases while delivering safe, high-quality perioperative patient care.

Job Details

• Location: Pasadena, TX 77504
• Healthcare Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Nursing
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• On-Call: Weekly on-call required, plus 1 weekend per month
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680-$1,770
• Start Date: September 7, 2026

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Operating Room experience required
• Strong background in orthopedics, general surgery, urology, and gynecology preferred
• ENT and vascular surgical experience are a plus
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-energy surgical environment

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in the Operating Room during a variety of surgical procedures
• Support open, laparoscopic, and robotic general surgery cases
• Assist with robotic orthopedics, total joint replacements, and trauma orthopedic cases
• Support laparoscopic and robotic gynecologic procedures, including hysterectomies and tubal ligations
• Contribute to emergent surgical interventions as needed
• Work as a dependable team member who helps keep cases moving efficiently
• Maintain a patient-first mindset while delivering safe, high-quality perioperative care
