Overview
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in a dynamic Emergency Department with 16 beds plus additional hallway chair space. This travel nursing job is ideal for an RN with strong trauma experience, excellent clinical judgment, and a calm, team-oriented approach to emergency medicine and high-acuity patient care.

Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- At least 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience required; 2+ years preferred
- Level II or Level III trauma experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- TNCC, ENPC, or PALS required
- CEN, TCRN, and CPI preferred
- Strong communication skills, compassion, urgency, and teamwork
- Comfort working in a high-volume, fast-moving ED environment
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to emergency room patients with varying levels of acuity
- Perform patient assessments, documentation, medication administration, and wound care
- Assist with splinting, IV placement, urine collection, and lab draws
- Care for patients ranging from ESI 5 through ESI 1
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, triage staff, techs, and support staff
- Participate in mandatory shift huddles and EMTALA training
- Support timely care for stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and trauma patients
- Maintain a professional presentation and follow unit dress code guidelines
