- Facility Setting: 16-bed Emergency Department with hall chairs, serving low-acuity to higher-acuity patients

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of nursing experience required
- 2+ years of Emergency Department experience preferred
- Level II or Level III trauma experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC or PALS certification
- CEN, TCRN, and CPI preferred
- Experience with emergency nursing skills including patient assessments, documentation, medication administration, IV starts, wound care, splinting, lab draws, and urine collection
- Strong communication skills with a focus on compassion, urgency, and teamwork
- Willingness to participate in mandatory shift huddles and EMTALA training
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care for patients across the ED spectrum, from ESI 5 through ESI 1
- Perform triage, assessments, medication administration, and documentation accurately and efficiently
- Support care for stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and trauma patients in a dynamic Emergency Department environment
- Assist with wound care, splinting, IV therapy, lab draws, and specimen collection
- Collaborate with charge nurses, triage staff, emergency technicians, and other healthcare team members to promote smooth patient flow
- Maintain a calm, professional presence while delivering patient-centered care under pressure
- Follow unit policies, safety standards, and required training expectations
