Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• At least 1 year of emergency department nursing experience required; 2+ years preferred
• Level II or Level III trauma experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC or PALS certifications
• CEN, TCRN, and CPI certifications preferred
• Experience with Meditech or similar EMR systems preferred
• Strong communication skills with a compassionate, team-oriented approach
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital emergency department and managing multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective ER nursing care to patients of varying acuity in the emergency department
• Perform assessments, documentation, medication administration, wound care, splinting, IV starts, urine collection, and lab draws
• Care for patients ranging from ESI 5 through ESI 1
• Support timely response and treatment for stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and trauma cases
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, triage staff, and support personnel to maintain smooth patient flow
• Participate in shift huddles and follow unit guidelines and EMTALA requirements
• Contribute to a positive team culture built on urgency, accountability, and excellent patient outcomes
