• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Weekend/Call: Every other weekend or as needed; call as needed
• Float: As needed to similar medical-surgical units

Job Requirements

• Active Tennessee RN license required
• 1+ year of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certification
• Strong IV insertion and bedside clinical skills
• Experience working 12-hour night shifts in an acute-care or hospital setting
• Ability to float to similar med/surg units as needed
• Professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and teamwork
• All required certifications must be in place prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms, assess patient status, and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
• Perform IV insertion and support routine bedside procedures
• Document patient care in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
• Maintain a patient-centered approach in a fast-paced acute-care environment
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and unit coverage as needed
