This 13-week travel nursing assignment is for an experienced Emergency Department RN who is confident delivering excellent patient care in a busy ED setting. You will work night shifts in a well-structured unit with a collaborative team and steady patient flow. Job Details

• Position: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) - Travel
• Setting: Emergency Department
• Location: Kingwood, TX 77339 - a welcoming suburban community known for its parks, greenbelts, and easy access to Houston amenities
• Start Date: 08/24/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (19:00-07:00)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per month
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,730 - $1,820
• Openings: 5

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Current RN license in good standing
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Strong clinical skills in acute ER care and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency room environment
• Experience with trauma preferred
• Comfort with Meditech EMR is a plus
• Personality fit: active, personable, and team-oriented

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across a variety of acuity levels
• Perform essential ED procedures such as IV starts, blood draws, resuscitation support, and EKGs
• Work closely with charge nurses, RNs, techs, and unit support staff to support efficient patient flow
• Monitor, assess, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR and maintain strong communication with the care team
• Deliver compassionate, efficient care while maintaining a calm and professional presence in urgent situations
