Experienced OR Registered Nurse needed for a travel nursing contract in Columbus, OH 43210. Join a high-acuity perioperative team in a fast-paced academic healthcare setting and support complex surgical care across a variety of specialties.

Job Details

• Location: Columbus, OH 43210
• Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Nursing
• Assignment Type: Travel RN Contract
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Day/evening rotating coverage with weekend and call coverage as needed
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,050 - $2,160

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and CNOR preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Circulating and scrub nurse experience preferred
• Travel nursing experience required
• Experience with complex surgical service lines preferred, including neuro, thoracic, ENT, ortho, general surgery, plastics, urology, GU/GYN, free flaps, and robotics

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the operating room
• Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical procedures as needed
• Support efficient perioperative workflow across rotating day and evening shifts
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain clear, timely patient records
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to support excellent patient outcomes
• Assist with call and weekend coverage based on unit needs
