Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the appropriate state
• Minimum of 2 years of bedside critical care clinical experience
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• Experience in LTAC, critical care, or acute care nursing preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Ability to support patient safety, quality outcomes, and compassionate care

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission and use findings to guide individualized care plans
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient progress and recovery goals
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
• Initiate discharge planning and patient/family education from day one
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Communicate patient status changes clearly to support continuity of care and patient safety
• Assist in supervising and supporting ancillary nursing staff as needed
• Promote a safe, efficient, and positive long-term acute care environment for patients and team members
