Job Details

- Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
- Location: Little Rock, AR 72202
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
- Start Date: September 7, 2026
- Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; holidays as needed; no self-scheduling
- Floating: Required within the ICU cluster, including NICU, PICU, and Burn ICU
- Orientation: 2-3 days with specialty testing
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Arkansas or a compact state
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a Level III-IV NICU
- Prior travel RN experience required
- Level 4 NICU experience must be clearly documented
- EPIC experience required
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Ability to float to other ICU settings as needed
- Must meet facility screening requirements, including nicotine testing
Responsibilities
- Provide expert bedside nursing care for critically ill neonates, including micro-preemies and medically complex newborns
- Monitor and manage infants with prematurity, respiratory complications, surgical recovery, and congenital anomalies
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the multidisciplinary care team to support safe, family-centered care
- Assess patient condition, administer medications, and respond quickly to changes in status
- Support ventilator management, advanced respiratory therapies, and specialized neonatal equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and follow unit protocols and travel nurse workflows
- Adapt to floating needs within the ICU cluster while maintaining high standards of clinical care
- Communicate compassionately with families and contribute to a supportive neonatal care environment
