Job Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed with an alternating 36/48-hour biweekly schedule
• Shift Pattern: 3x12-hour nights or 4x12-hour nights, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,820 - $1,910
• Charting System: Epic preferred
• Patient Ratio: 4:1 on days, nights, and weekends
• Orientation: 48 hours

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand before start
• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required; 3 years preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Experience in a high-volume or trauma environment strongly preferred
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS required
• Epic experience preferred
• Strong clinical confidence in fast-paced emergency care settings
• Ability to complete required compliance items and labs within the requested timeframe
• No first-time travelers accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients in a high-volume Emergency Department
• Support treatment of a wide range of emergent conditions, including trauma, respiratory distress, neurological events, and behavioral health concerns
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency interventions per protocol
• Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced emergency support, including ventilated patients and those needing procedural sedation
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and efficient workflow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Deliver safe, compassionate care while adapting to changing patient needs throughout the shift
