• Start Date: August 23, 2026
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Schedule: 4 shifts per week; 40 hours per week
• Call Requirement: 2-3 call shifts per week, plus 48 hours of call every second or third weekend
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,120 - $3,290
• Location: Rockingham, Virginia 22801

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• At least 1 year of recent CVOR RN or cardiac OR experience
• Strong surgical nursing skills in a high-acuity operating room environment
• Ability to work scheduled day shifts and participate in call coverage
• Excellent communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills
• Prior travel nursing experience is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in the cardiac operating room
• Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care
• Support cardiac surgical procedures with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality outcomes
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiology, and perioperative team members
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold surgical best practices
• Participate in call coverage as scheduled to support patient care needs
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered surgical environment
