Job Requirements
- 2+ years of nursing experience required
- Dedicated Medical ICU experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- BLS certification through AHA required
- ACLS certification required
- Epic experience required
- Level I trauma experience required
- Must successfully complete day-one medication and EKG testing
- Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced critical care environment
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill Medical ICU patients
- Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Administer medications and perform ICU-level nursing interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care team members
- Accurately document patient care, assessments, and progress in Epic
- Maintain patient safety and clinical standards in a busy trauma-capable hospital
- Adapt to weekly orientation and assignment-specific compliance requirements
