• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required
• Setting: Progressive Care / Nursing Float Pool

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent progressive care, telemetry, or acute care nursing experience required
• Epic experience required
• Ability to titrate pressors required
• BLS through AHA required
• ACLS through AHA required
• NIHSS preferred
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred; required for nurses without prior travel nursing experience
• Must be comfortable with day-one testing and online preparation
• Must be eligible to work as a travel RN

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for progressive care patients with varying acuity levels
• Monitor patients closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Titrate pressors and manage complex clinical needs within scope of practice
• Float as needed to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units
• Work within patient ratios ranging from 1:3 to 1:5
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote safe, efficient patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies and protocols
• Adapt to a fast-moving progressive care environment while delivering compassionate patient care
