- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040

- Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Charting System: Epic
- Call: Not required
- Floating: May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience required
- Experience in a community hospital or acute care hospital setting required
- Epic charting experience required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC
- Experience caring for adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients
- Comfort managing common emergency presentations including stroke, STEMI, chest pain, trauma, shortness of breath, asthma, abdominal pain, and lacerations
- Strong skills in triage, dysrhythmia management, IV vasopressors, central line care, and ventilated patient support
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy, high-acuity emergency department
- Perform triage, assess patients rapidly, and prioritize care based on acuity
- Support patients with stroke, STEMI, trauma, respiratory distress, and other urgent conditions
- Monitor telemetry and manage dysrhythmias in collaboration with the care team
- Administer treatments, medications, and interventions according to established protocols
- Care for patients requiring isolation precautions, IV vasopressors, BiPAP/CPAP, and ventilator support
- Collaborate with respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and support safe, efficient patient flow throughout the unit
