CVICU Registered Nurse Travel Assignment in Spokane, Washington

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week; block scheduling supported
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,160 - $2,270
• Start Date: September 8, 2026
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Charting System: Epic
• Patient Ratio: 1:1 to 1:2
• Float Requirement: May float if overstaffed

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of CVICU nursing experience required
• 2 years of acute care or critical care nursing experience preferred
• Valid RN license with compact license in hand at submission, if applicable
• ACLS and BLS required
• CCRN strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic charting preferred
• Ability to work every other weekend and commit to scheduled holidays as needed
• Strong critical care background with comfort managing complex cardiac and multisystem patients

Responsibilities

• Provide expert bedside care to CVICU patients with a focus on safety, stability, and recovery
• Monitor and manage patients recovering from open heart, vascular, and other complex cardiac procedures
• Care for critically ill patients requiring advanced support such as pressors, devices, CRRT, and ventilator management
• Interpret dysrhythmias, ABGs, and hemodynamic trends to support rapid clinical decision-making
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips, vasoactive drips, sedation, and other critical medications per protocol
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, IV teams, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary partners
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care
