Job Details
- Position: Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med/Surg RN)
- Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
- Location: Lander, WY 82520
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
- Start Date: 9/7/2026
Job Requirements
- Active Wyoming RN license or compact/multi-state RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing or acute care nursing experience required
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, individualized nursing care to a diverse medical-surgical patient population
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately per nursing standards
- Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes promptly, and initiate appropriate interventions
- Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery plans, and home care needs
- Assist with dressing changes, IV starts, catheter insertion, and other bedside care tasks
- Support discharge planning and maintain thorough, timely, and accurate documentation
- Respond to urgent or life-saving situations following established nursing protocols
