Job Details

• Position: Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med/Surg RN)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
• Location: Lander, WY 82520
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Start Date: 9/7/2026

Job Requirements

• Active Wyoming RN license or compact/multi-state RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing or acute care nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, individualized nursing care to a diverse medical-surgical patient population
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately per nursing standards
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes promptly, and initiate appropriate interventions
• Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery plans, and home care needs
• Assist with dressing changes, IV starts, catheter insertion, and other bedside care tasks
• Support discharge planning and maintain thorough, timely, and accurate documentation
• Respond to urgent or life-saving situations following established nursing protocols
