• Schedule Note: Every 3rd weekend
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,870 - $1,970

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of bedside nursing experience
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• Strong assessment, documentation, and care coordination skills
• Experience in Long-Term Acute Care, rehabilitation nursing, or medically complex patient care preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within the first 8 hours of admission
• Develop and follow individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in rehabilitation programming and support patient progress toward goals
• Initiate discharge planning and patient education early in the admission process
• Communicate changes in patient status to physicians, charge nurses, and other team members
• Supervise and support ancillary nursing personnel as appropriate
• Promote a safe, positive, and efficient LTAC unit environment for patients and staff
• Maintain supplies, resources, and time management practices that support high-quality patient care
• Assume charge responsibilities after orientation as requested
