• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
• Setting: 32-bed Emergency Department with a fast-paced, high-volume patient mix
• Charting System: Cerner

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS or ENPC certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ED environment
• Excellent communication and patient/family interaction skills
• Experience with stroke, STEMI, and trauma care preferred
• Ability to support additional areas as needed within competency

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, from birth through adulthood
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and emergent conditions
• Respond quickly to changing patient conditions and deliver care in a dynamic Emergency Department
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary care team to support timely treatment and patient flow
• Deliver compassionate, family-centered care while maintaining a calm and professional presence
• Assist with critical care-level equipment and emergency interventions as needed
• Support unit operations by floating to other appropriate areas within your competencies when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safe, high-quality nursing practices
