Job Details

• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week; 36 hours per week

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800–$1,890
• Location: Lorain, Ohio

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of practice or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
• At least 6 months of acute care hospital experience preferred
• BLS required; ACLS preferred at hire and required within 6 months of hire
• BSN preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record systems preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced inpatient telemetry setting

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Administer medications safely and in accordance with nursing standards and hospital policies
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond to changes in condition with confidence and urgency
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
• Provide patient and family education throughout the care experience
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical-surgical needs
• Support advanced clinical interventions such as chest tube management, hemodynamic monitoring, temporary pacing, and conscious sedation as needed
• Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and compassionate, relationship-based care
