• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Duration: 16 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• Schedule: Days and nights, with rotating assignments based on unit needs
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in hand at the time of submission
• At least 2 years of overall acute care nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or stepdown RN experience required
• Current acute care experience preferred and must have been active within the last 12 months
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Ability to manage telemetry monitoring and interpret dysrhythmias
• Strong skills in IV therapy, blood product administration, and central/peripheral line care
• Travel nursing experience required
• Reference requirements: 2 professional references, including 1 from a manager, director, or formal leader

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced PCU/stepdown environment
• Care for patients with acute leukemia and hematology-related conditions
• Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in cardiac rhythms
• Support infection prevention and patient fall prevention initiatives
• Administer blood products, IV antibiotics, electrolytes, and other ordered therapies
• Maintain and manage central lines, PICCs, peripheral IVs, and feeding tubes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient care and rapid response needs
• Document patient care accurately in Epic and follow established unit protocols
