• Position: CVOR Registered Nurse (Cardiovascular Operating Room RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Columbus, OH 43210
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,760 - $2,900
• Start Date: 10/05/2026
• End Date: 01/04/2027
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift: Day shift coverage with some evening-hour overlap as needed
• Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
• Role Focus: Scrub only

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of overall operating room experience
• At least 2 years of cardiac and vascular experience
• At least 1 year of CVOR experience
• At least 1 year of Level I Trauma experience
• Experience working in EPIC required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Scrub experience required
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program preferred/required per compliance standards
• Strong experience with complex cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide scrub support for complex CVOR procedures
• Assist with cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant surgeries
• Maintain a sterile field and support safe, efficient OR workflow
• Prepare instruments, equipment, and supplies for high-acuity surgical cases
• Support common cases such as CABG, valve procedures, aneurysm repairs, bypass procedures, and endovascular interventions
• Document accurately in EPIC and collaborate closely with the surgical team
• Help ensure adherence to universal protocol, infection prevention, and patient safety standards
• Respond confidently to the needs of a busy, specialized operating room environment
