• End Date: 12/05/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in Texas or a compact state
• At least 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty required
• Labor & Delivery, obstetric, or perinatal nursing experience preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Current AHA ACLS certification required
• Current NRP certification required
• Current AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Ability to complete orientation, competency validation, and annual training requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocol and monitor for effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, care delivered, and clinical outcomes accurately
• Educate patients and families on care needs, procedures, and available resources
• Support a collaborative healthcare team and make appropriate assignments when needed
• Provide compassionate care while addressing physical, emotional, cultural, and social needs
