Travel ICU RN opportunity in San Antonio’s Stone Oak area for an experienced critical care nurse seeking a 13-week assignment with 12-hour night shifts, 36 guaranteed hours, and a collaborative high-acuity team environment.

- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,460 - $1,540

- End Date: 11/6/2026
- Weekend Requirement: Rotating schedule, including every other weekend
- Floating: As needed based on unit needs
- Documentation System: Meditech preferred experience
Job Requirements
- Active Texas RN license required; temporary licenses are not accepted
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience in a critical care setting
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification or equivalent NIH competency required
- Experience managing vasopressors in an ICU or intensive care environment
- Strong attendance, reliability, and professionalism required
- Ability to float as needed to support unit coverage
- Meditech experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU
- Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Administer medications and titratable therapies, including vasopressors, per protocol
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in the electronic health record
- Support safe patient transfers and float to related units when assigned
- Follow infection prevention standards, hospital policies, and professional nursing practice guidelines
- Contribute to a respectful, team-oriented environment focused on high-quality patient care
