Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890-$1,990

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of bedside clinical experience required
• BLS certification required before first shift
• ACLS certification required before first shift
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based acute care environment

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized plans of care
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
• Support patients in their rehabilitation journey and promote positive clinical outcomes
• Initiate discharge planning and patient/family teaching early in the admission process
• Communicate changes in patient status clearly and promptly to the interdisciplinary care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and on time
• Provide direction and supervision to ancillary staff as appropriate
• Promote a safe, supportive, and efficient care environment for patients and team members
