Mother/Baby RN travel job in Dallas, Texas: Join a dynamic postpartum nursing team and support new families in a fast-paced, rewarding Mother/Baby setting. This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working in central Dallas, close to city conveniences, dining, and entertainment.
Job Details
- Position: Mother/Baby RN (Registered Nurse)
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
- Location: Dallas, TX 75230
- Schedule: 12-hour nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,350-$1,420
- Weekend Requirement: 3-4 weekend shifts per schedule
- Call: No call required
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of Mother/Baby, postpartum nursing, or newborn care experience required
- Current RN license or RN credential required
- NRP and BLS required
- NICU experience or postpartum experience preferred
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and strong teamwork skills
- Comfortable caring for couplets in a postpartum environment
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate Mother/Baby care to postpartum patients and newborns
- Support lactation needs and bedside education for new families
- Perform phototherapy care, blood sugar checks, and IV antibiotic administration as needed
- Monitor couplets and help maintain safe, efficient patient flow
- Float as a resource nurse when needed in rare situations
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote excellent patient outcomes and a positive family experience
