Job Details

• Position: Mother/Baby RN (Registered Nurse)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Location: Dallas, TX 75230
• Schedule: 12-hour nights
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,350-$1,420
• Weekend Requirement: 3-4 weekend shifts per schedule
• Call: No call required

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of Mother/Baby, postpartum nursing, or newborn care experience required
• Current RN license or RN credential required
• NRP and BLS required
• NICU experience or postpartum experience preferred
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and strong teamwork skills
• Comfortable caring for couplets in a postpartum environment

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate Mother/Baby care to postpartum patients and newborns
• Support lactation needs and bedside education for new families
• Perform phototherapy care, blood sugar checks, and IV antibiotic administration as needed
• Monitor couplets and help maintain safe, efficient patient flow
• Float as a resource nurse when needed in rare situations
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote excellent patient outcomes and a positive family experience
