Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of specialty nursing experience required
• Active RN license required; temporary licenses are not accepted
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• Meditech experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and ability to perform in a high-acuity ER environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a busy Emergency Department
• Assess, monitor, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary care team members to deliver safe, efficient care
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Support patient flow and maintain a calm, professional presence during high-volume periods
• Follow unit policies, attendance expectations, and clinical standards
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to unit dress code guidelines
