Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of recent high-risk Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Experience caring for high-risk obstetrical and women's health patients
- Experience circulating in C-sections
- Experience recovering high-acuity postpartum patients
- Intermediate AWONN fetal monitoring certification
- Ability to work night shifts and rotate weekends as needed
- Strong teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Provide bedside nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients with high-risk needs
- Monitor fetal status and support safe, timely interventions
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&Cs, and post-delivery recovery care
- Circulate in the operating room for obstetric procedures as assigned
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and the care team to promote positive outcomes
- Support triage, antepartum, and women's unit needs as appropriate
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit policies and best practices
