Job Requirements
- Active RN license required; temporary licenses are not accepted
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department or ER nursing experience required
- NIH certification required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- TNCC certification required
- Meditech experience preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and participate in an every-other-weekend schedule
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, timely, and compassionate care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergency and urgent conditions
- Perform rapid assessments, triage patients, prioritize care, and respond effectively in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Administer medications, monitor patient status, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal outcomes
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record and maintain clinical compliance
- Support a high standard of teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care in a busy ER environment
- Follow unit policies, attendance expectations, and all required clinical and safety standards
