Job Requirements

• Active RN license required; temporary licenses are not accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department or ER nursing experience required
• NIH certification required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• Meditech experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in an every-other-weekend schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely, and compassionate care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergency and urgent conditions
• Perform rapid assessments, triage patients, prioritize care, and respond effectively in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Administer medications, monitor patient status, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record and maintain clinical compliance
• Support a high standard of teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care in a busy ER environment
• Follow unit policies, attendance expectations, and all required clinical and safety standards
