• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460-$1,540

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of PICU experience as a staff nurse
• At least 1 year of pediatric CICU/CVICU experience preferred and highly valued
• Experience caring for patients with congenital heart disease and post-operative CHD management
• Experience managing arterial lines, central lines, and transthoracic lines
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt in a high-acuity pediatric critical care setting

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care for pediatric critical care patients
• Monitor and support ICU and step-down level patients with varying acuity needs
• Assist with procedures such as central line and arterial line placement, conscious sedation, intubation/extubation, and post-operative recovery
• Support advanced cardiac care needs including sternal closures, codes, ECMO cannulation/decannulation, CRRT, and manual PD
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver safe, coordinated patient care
• Maintain meticulous charting and follow unit protocols in a dynamic pediatric hospital environment
