• Position: Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med-Surg/Telemetry RN)
• Location: Galion, OH
• Start Date: September 14, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910-$2,010
• Openings: 2
• Work Setting: Medical-Surgical / Telemetry
• Call: Required
• Floating: Must be willing to float as needed

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in Ohio or a compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Recent travel nursing experience required within the last year
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong telemetry nursing skills, including dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Experience with isolation precautions, oxygen administration, and peripheral line care
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment and supporting rapid response/code teams
• Ability to float to multiple nearby campuses or units as needed
• Epic experience preferred
• Reliable, flexible, and prepared for evening and weekend coverage expectations

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer oxygen and support non-invasive airway management when indicated
• Maintain peripheral lines and provide ongoing IV-related care and monitoring
• Implement isolation precautions and promote infection prevention best practices
• Collaborate with the care team and escalate concerns promptly to support positive outcomes
• Assist with rapid response or code situations when needed
• Adapt quickly to changing patient needs and unit priorities
• Provide professional, patient-centered care throughout the shift
