Job Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Strong experience in PCU, telemetry, med-surg, or ICU preferred
• Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac/vasoactive drips preferred
• Comfort working in a fast-paced acute care and travel nursing environment
• Ability to float to units where patient care needs are greatest
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with complex medical and surgical needs
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition, including dysrhythmias and cardiac events
• Care for patients with diagnoses such as trauma-related conditions, post-bariatric surgery, and medical-surgical complications
• Administer medications and support safe, evidence-based patient care practices
• Manage telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Float between PCU and MS/Tele units based on census and staffing needs
• Deliver compassionate, attentive care in a high-acuity progressive care setting
