Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Highly desired: Minimum Two (2) Years Bedside Clinical Experience
- Critical care experience required
- BLS certification required prior to first shift
- ACLS certification required prior to first shift
- Strong assessment, documentation, and patient communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented LTAC care environment
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with the established plan of care
- Complete nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and on time
- Participate in weekly care conferences and communicate changes in patient status promptly
- Support rehabilitation goals, discharge planning, and patient/family education from admission through discharge
- Delegate and supervise ancillary nursing personnel appropriately
- Promote patient, staff, and environmental safety at all times
- Contribute positively to team culture, unit workflow, and a collaborative care environment
