• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,650 - $2,790

Job Requirements

• Active Colorado RN license
• Current CPR certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Certification required
• ACLS required within one year of employment
• At least 1 year of relevant obstetrics, labor and delivery, or women’s health nursing experience required
• 4 years of obstetrics care experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, infection control, and mother/infant care
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient education skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to women during labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn recovery
• Monitor labor progression and complete accurate patient assessments
• Prepare patients and rooms for C-sections and inductions
• Administer medications, including IV therapies, in accordance with clinical protocols
• Document nursing care accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
• Provide emotional support and patient education throughout the birth experience
• Assist with infant care and coordinate transfers when needed
• Follow infection control standards and maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and families
