- Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:5 with ancillary support

- Floating: May float within the facility as needed, including telemetry
Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
- BLS and ACLS required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and support a busy surgical patient census
- Strong adaptability, teamwork, and communication skills
- Orthopedic, spine, or PCU experience preferred
- Comfort working in a fast-paced Dallas healthcare environment with changing census demands
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to post-surgical Med/Surg patients
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and hospital protocols
- Support recovery for orthopedic and spine surgery patients
- Document nursing care accurately and efficiently in the EMR
- Assist with patient education, mobility, pain management, and discharge readiness
- Adapt to a heavy midweek volume and deliver reliable care during busy night shifts
- Float as needed to support telemetry or related inpatient areas within the facility
