Job Details

• Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per month
• Call Requirement: None
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,730 - $1,820
• Location: Irving, TX 75039

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Active Texas RN license required; temporary licenses are not accepted
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and FHM/AWHONN certifications required
• Meditech experience preferred
• Ability to work confidently in a night shift environment and support charge responsibilities
• Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability in a busy obstetric unit

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Circulate C-sections and assist with Labor & Delivery unit procedures as needed
• Support charge nurse duties on night shift when assigned
• Monitor patient status, document care accurately, and collaborate with the care team
• Work closely with unit techs and support staff to maintain efficient patient flow
• Follow unit policies, floating guidelines, and attendance expectations
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical setting
