• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,350 - $1,420
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment

• End Date: 11/9/2026
• Schedule: Every other weekend

Job Requirements

• Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license required; temporary license is not accepted
• 2+ years of hospital nursing experience required
• Experience caring for high-risk antepartum patients and postpartum recoveries
• Newborn Nursery experience required
• NRP certification required
• BLS certification required
• Meditech experience preferred
• RNC-OB preferred
• Ability to work nights and every other weekend as scheduled

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to postpartum mothers and newborns
• Monitor high-risk antepartum patients and support safe postpartum recovery
• Deliver newborn nursery nursing care with a focus on safety, education, and family support
• Perform IV placement and other routine bedside nursing interventions
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Maintain a professional, family-focused environment that promotes comfort and confidence for patients
