Job Details

• Position: Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
• Location: McKinney, TX 75069
• Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Nursing
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Weekly Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,840 - $1,940
• Call Requirement: About 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month
• EMR: Meditech

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room experience
• Neuro experience required
• Ortho/Spine experience required
• BLS certification required
• General and trauma OR experience strongly preferred
• Strong team-player attitude with a positive, flexible approach
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to surgical patients in the Operating Room
• Support a variety of surgical procedures, including ortho, neuro, robotics, general, trauma, and urology cases
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiology, CSTs, and ancillary team members
• Maintain patient safety and deliver high-quality perioperative care
• Prepare and assist with OR cases while maintaining workflow efficiency
• Adapt to changing case volumes and contribute to a positive team environment
• Participate in call coverage as scheduled
