• Schedule: Every other weekend, no call
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,350 - $1,420
• Unit Highlights: 25-bed postpartum unit with a patient ratio of 1:5-6
• EMR: Meditech and CPN

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Mother/Baby RN or postpartum nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of nursing experience required
• Comfort working with postpartum patients and GYN surgical patients
• Warm, professional, and patient-centered communication style

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns in a Mother/Baby unit
• Monitor recovery, assessments, and ongoing patient needs in the postpartum setting
• Support patients following delivery and GYN surgeries
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Contribute to a warm, supportive, and family-centered environment for patients and families
