Job Details
- Position: ICU / Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Location: Plano, TX 75075
- Start Date: 8/10/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Estimated Schedule: 3 shifts per week
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
- Documentation System: Meditech experience preferred
- Floating: As needed
- Weekend/Call: Rotating weekends and call requirements may apply
Job Requirements
- Active Texas RN license required; temporary license is not accepted
- Minimum 2 years of hospital nursing experience
- Minimum 2 years of specialty experience in ICU, Stepdown, Telemetry, or PCU settings
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Experience with Meditech strongly preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and ability to work in a high-acuity acute care environment
- Professional presentation and adherence to unit appearance standards
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to ICU and Stepdown patients
- Monitor patient status closely and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support patient recovery
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in the charting system
- Deliver care in accordance with unit protocols, attendance standards, and clinical best practices
- Adapt to floating assignments and support patient care needs as required
- Maintain a professional, patient-centered approach while working overnight shifts
