NICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment in Plano, TX

  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
  • Schedule: Night shift assignment with 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
  • On Call: None
  • Floating: Nursery
  • Location: Plano, TX 75075
  • EMR: CPN and Meditech

Job Requirements

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
  • Level II-III NICU experience required
  • Level III-IV NICU experience preferred
  • BLS certification required
  • NRP certification required
  • Strong teamwork skills and a positive, adaptable mindset

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled, compassionate care to neonatal patients in a high-acuity NICU setting
  • Monitor and support infants requiring respiratory care and specialized interventions
  • Assist with neonatal procedures and the care of surgical and medically complex newborns
  • Care for micro-preemie patients with close attention to safety and detail
  • Collaborate closely with charge nurses, fellow RNs, and the care team to promote excellent patient outcomes
  • Document accurately and maintain high standards of clinical care throughout each shift
