Experienced Labor & Delivery RN needed for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Weatherford, Texas. This night shift opportunity is ideal for a skilled L&D nurse who thrives in a fast-paced maternal-child care environment and is confident supporting patients through labor, delivery, recovery, and immediate newborn care. • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,730 - $1,820
• Employment Type: Travel nursing
• Schedule: Every other weekend; no floating

Job Requirements

• Active Texas RN license required; temporary licenses are not accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital or specialty nursing experience
• Labor & delivery experience with recovery and immediate newborn care
• Experience with golden hour baby care and PACU C-sections
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• WHONN certification required
• Ability to circulate C-sections required
• Ability to scrub C-sections preferred
• Meditech experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care for patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum transition
• Support immediate newborn care, golden hour newborn stabilization, and maternal-newborn nursing care
• Assist with C-sections, including circulating and, when qualified, scrubbing
• Monitor mother and baby outcomes and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver efficient, high-quality bedside care
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Maintain professionalism, reliability, and strong teamwork in a busy clinical setting
