Job Details

• Position: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Location: Boston, MA 02215
• Start Date: 9/7/2026
• End Date: 12/5/2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
• Orientation: Weekly orientation available every Monday, barring holidays
• Note: Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Active Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Strong critical care assessment, monitoring, and intervention skills
• Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts and every third weekend
• Must be able to provide requested interview availability at the time of submission

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Administer medications, therapies, and treatments according to ICU protocols
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Maintain accurate documentation and support quality patient outcomes
• Support a high-acuity critical care environment with professionalism, focus, and teamwork
• Adhere to all unit-specific procedures, safety standards, and clinical best practices
