• Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3
• Unit Environment: 30-bed ICU with Epic EMR and advanced critical care equipment

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Strong comprehensive assessment and critical thinking skills
• Experience caring for septic and mechanically ventilated patients
• Comfort working with hemodynamic monitoring devices
• Flexibility to float to other inpatient areas as needed
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Positive attitude, empathy, and a team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU
• Monitor and manage patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, endocrine disorders, substance use disorders, and psychiatric conditions
• Perform comprehensive assessments and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Support mechanically ventilated patients and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Use ICU equipment and electronic medical record (Epic EMR) systems accurately and efficiently
• Provide float support to other inpatient units when census requires
• Contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered critical care environment
