- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC
- Setting: Long-Term Acute Care Hospital
- Type: Travel nurse assignment
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week; 12-hour night shifts
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,860 - $1,960
- Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- At least 1 year of bedside clinical experience required
- 2+ years of bedside nursing experience highly desired
- Critical care experience required
- BLS certification required prior to first shift
- ACLS certification required prior to first shift
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced LTAC and acute care environment
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized plans of care
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes promptly to the care team
- Support rehabilitation goals through compassionate direct patient care
- Provide patient and family education throughout the admission and discharge process
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and on time
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Supervise and guide ancillary nursing personnel as needed
- Promote a safe, supportive, and efficient LTAC unit environment
- Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care from admission onward
