Job Details

• Position: Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Geneva, NY
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Duration: 23-week assignment
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 - $2,370
• Setting: Outpatient cardiology and interventional radiology clinic
• Work Environment: No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts
• Start Date: September 21, 2026

Job Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent patient care experience
• Recent arrhythmia recognition and cardiology experience required
• Experience with moderate sedation preferred and highly beneficial
• Experience with treadmill testing, ETTs, and nuclear stress testing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA or RQI
• RN diploma required; BSN preferred
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team-based outpatient workflow

Responsibilities

• Perform treadmill, ETT, and nuclear stress testing procedures
• Conduct initial patient interviews and complete preliminary assessments
• Prepare studies for physician interpretation
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
• Provide patient and family education with professionalism and compassion
• Support special procedures such as stress-echo studies and tilt table studies
• Recognize and respond to emergency situations according to policy and protocol
• Identify and interpret arrhythmias accurately
• Perform conscious sedation as needed
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the cardiology team to ensure accurate, timely results
